LOMBARD, IL, March 26, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elizabeth Lewis, JD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Lewis has established a distinguished career in legal services for global consumer goods companies, demonstrating expertise and leadership across multiple sectors. Since 2014, she has served as the general counsel at Turtle Wax Inc., a mid-sized global consumer goods company, where she consults with the executive committee and board of directors and collaborates with regional managers worldwide to address strategic challenges. In this capacity, Ms. Lewis is most proud of her ability to provide collaborative advice to business leaders who are not legal practitioners, translating complex legal concepts into practical, forward-looking business strategies. Her dynamic, leadership-focused approach as a strategic counselor enables her to relate to all levels of the business and deliver concise guidance that advances projects and organizational goals. Ms. Lewis is also recognized as a resource for business professionals seeking to develop their skills and achieve their objectives.

Having begun her legal career in 1989, Ms. Lewis was hired by Baker McKenzie as an associate in the banking, finance and major projects group. She then became a partner at the firm, where she spent another few years. Over 10 years with the firm, Ms. Lewis gained invaluable global exposure by working with sophisticated U.S.-based multinationals and multinational companies outside the United States and collaborating with counsel worldwide. This foundation equipped her with a unique skill set for advising global businesses on complex legal matters.

Ms. Lewis's later tenure as a secretary, treasurer and general counsel at Corona Optical Systems from 1999 to 2004 further showcased her versatility in managing legal affairs, corporate governance and financial oversight within an Intel-funded, high-tech startup environment. This experience honed her resourcefulness and efficiency, particularly when navigating compliance requirements and fostering team collaboration with limited resources.

Ms. Lewis's academic achievements have been instrumental in shaping her career trajectory. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology at Bucknell University in 1986 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan in 1989. She was admitted to practice by the Illinois Bar Association.

Beyond work, Ms. Lewis's industry involvement includes serving on the membership committee of UCCO and participating as a panel speaker for the International Association of Trademark Attorneys. From 2020 to 2023, she served as a member at Chief in Illinois, where she helped advance female executives through networking and professional development initiatives. Early in her career, Ms. Lewis presented at the Constitutional Convention in Kyiv, Ukraine, reflecting her commitment to international legal discourse. She has also served as a panel member for in-house counsel at Chicago area law schools, sharing her expertise with emerging legal professionals.

Ms. Lewis's dedication extends to civic engagement and community service. From 2017 to 2023, she served as chancellor for St. Mark's Episcopal Church, providing extensive pro bono legal support to the Episcopal Diocese and various parishes. She represented her parish as its attorney for decades, continuing a legacy established by her father, himself a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. Between 2009 and 2016, Ms. Lewis held leadership positions as the school board president and parent organization president at St. Petronille Catholic School. She remains actively engaged in Chicago's vibrant arts scene, supporting numerous organizations through attendance at fundraisers and by participating in cultural events.

Ms. Lewis's commitment to service has been recognized through several honors, including the Distinguished Service Award from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services in 1992 and the Maurice Weigle Outstanding Service Award from the Chicago Bar Association in 1998. She was also a finalist for the Top 100 In-House Counsel Award.

Reflecting on her accomplishments, Ms. Lewis notes that her early career at Baker McKenzie provided her with global insights and resources that she continues to leverage in her current role at Turtle Wax, Inc. Additionally, her experience in a high-tech startup environment refined her ability to operate efficiently while fostering collaboration. Looking ahead, Ms. Lewis intends to continue serving in a C-suite legal role, preferably at Turtle Wax Inc., where she can strategically support the growth of U.S.-based multinational consumer goods businesses, leveraging her unique blend of global insight and operational agility to drive organizational success.
