MIAMI, FL, March 26, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lisa A. Parlagreco, Esq., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by her expertise in forensic consulting and litigation, Ms. Parlagreco has built a distinguished legal career of more than three decades. Since 1990, she has served as president of Parlagreco Law, LLC in Miami, where she continues to work on amicus briefs and manage a diverse caseload. Widely recognized for her commitment to both civil and criminal appeals, she also frequently collaborates with subject-matter experts to address complex legal challenges within the State of Massachusetts as well as various federal courts.

From 2014 to 2020, Ms. Parlagreco was also attorney of counsel at Sinsheimer & Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. Selecting cases of particular interest, she focused on intricate appeals in first-degree murder cases and significant civil matters, which allowed her to further refine her skills by working closely with leading experts in various fields.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Parlagreco has achieved several notable milestones. Among her most significant accomplishments is securing a $35 million verdict in a case involving a 2019 car crash that left three teenagers severely injured. She dedicated five years to gathering forensic evidence, securing the original surveillance tapes for examination and advocating for the victims and their families, ultimately helping to improve their lives.

Another landmark achievement was Ms. Parlagreco's representation of a man wrongfully convicted of murder in 1986. After his conviction was overturned and he was released from prison in 2012, she continued to advocate on his behalf. In 2019, the state declined further prosecution, paving the way for a wrongful conviction lawsuit that resulted in a $13 million judgment against the Commonwealth in 2024.

Further reflecting her standing within the legal community, Ms. Parlagreco has been a member of the Federal Bar Association since 2018, the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2014 and is affiliated with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.

Also recognized for her successful writing projects and media appearances, Ms. Parlagreco published work with the influential IBTimes LLC in 2025 and authored the influential "The Reemergence of Substantive Due Process as a Constitutional Tort: Theory, Proof, and Damages" for the New England Law Review in 1990. Her insights have also been featured on Village Voice and through appearances on popular podcasts including "Entrepreneurs on Fire with John Lee Dumas" and Joseph Douglas' "Make Your Case."

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Parlagreco earned a Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1989, also receiving book awards for both administrative law and civil procedure. She previously completed a bachelor's degree in communications, politics and law at Emerson College, where she also excelled as a member of the forensics team, in 1985. Along with her education, she attributes her success and longevity in the legal realm to consistent dedication and perseverance through challenges — qualities that have been pivotal throughout her professional journey.

Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Parlagreco has contributed to civic organizations and creative endeavors that aid children and creative endeavors. She has served as general counsel for the New England Kid Actors Group for 15 years and was a member of the board of directors for the arts and culture organization Youth Pro Musica from 2009 to 2012.

A proud mother of two daughters and one son, Ms. Parlagreco enjoys creative activates such as playing the electric guitar, painting, drawing and clay art outside of her professional responsibilities. Looking to the future, she aims to see the documentary film "The Reinvention of Chad Marks" — a project chronicling a man's transformation during incarceration — come to fruition and is writing a book about her experiences handling the 2019 case involving three teenagers seeking justice. Professionally, she remains committed to advocating for reforms that prioritize science-based evidence within the courts while also supporting her children as they follow their own dreams.
