BROOKLYN, NY, April 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicholas A. Arroyo, president and chief executive officer of Gotham Pumps USA, was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the December 2025/January 2026 New York City regional issue of Forbes magazine.

Now celebrating more than 20 years of contributions to his field, Mr. Arroyo began his career immediately after college, joining Federal Pump as a sales engineer and project manager in 2004. Serving in these positions for a decade, he gained valuable experience in the realm of pump manufacturing. Mr. Arroyo's expertise was honored in 2014 when he was promoted to the North American distributor sales manager and, later, the sales director for Federal Pump. In 2019, he accepted the responsibilities of business unit manager and vice president of sales for PumpMan NYC.

In 2024, Mr. Arroyo leveraged his extensive professional history to launch his own company, Gotham Pumps USA. He leads the company as president and chief executive officer while also working day-to-day as a sales engineer for pump systems and controls. Through his company, Mr. Arroyo specializes in restoring, replacing and upgrading pump systems in New York City buildings. He collaborates with property management companies, building developers, licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in a high-quality manner.

Mr. Arroyo's standout performance was born of his academic journey. In 2004, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, management and finance from Brooklyn College. Beyond his primary vocation, Mr. Arroyo devotes much of his time to civic advocacy. He supports Habitat for Humanity, The Heart Foundation and charity events through the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Arroyo is a loving husband and father. In his free time, he supports his daughter's sports and extracurricular events and regularly volunteers at her school. Looking toward the future, Mr. Arroyo is focused on growing Gotham Pumps USA to 15 employees over the next several years. Additionally, he hopes to maintain a healthy work-life balance for both himself and his employees.

MEMBERSHIP HIGHLIGHTS
As a commitment to his field, Mr. Arroyo has been active with several industry-related organizations. He is a member of the Emerald Guild Society, the New York City Resident Manager's Society, and the New York chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Mr. Arroyo joined the New York chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers in 2012 and continues contributing to the group to the present day.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Arroyo has worked on buildings near New York City's most recognizable landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the United Nations headquarters. According to his recollection, his most noteworthy achievement took place during 2012's devastating Hurricane Sandy. With many streets flooded due to a storm surge, Mr. Arroyo aided in replacing the water pumps in nearly 50 buildings in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
