In this capacity, Ms. Hamilton is responsible for managing procurements, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing software training to staff, and facilitating effective communication between subcontractors and the company. Her role also involves capturing requirements from both internal and external clients and transforming them into actionable results.
Before her current appointment, Ms. Hamilton held the position of director of federal procurement at Jacobs in Greenwood Village, Colorado, from 2024 to 2025. Between 2021 and 2024, she served as the deputy federal procurement director for Jacobs in the Greater Denver area. Among her earlier roles at the advisory and consulting firm, Ms. Hamilton worked as a senior supervisor of federal procurement from 2015 to 2021, following 10 years as a federal procurement professional, starting in 2005.
Before joining Jacobs, Ms. Hamilton worked as a project/construction coordinator at DelWest Holdings LLC from 2001 to 2005. In this role, she managed land development and commercial homebuilding projects focused on condominiums in the Denver area. Ms. Hamilton's responsibilities included coordinating construction activities and supporting project delivery for large-scale residential developments.
In 2001, Ms. Hamilton served in the technology sector as a consultant and business analyst at Interlink Group Inc. (now Dell Technologies), where she provided consulting services on website development and database solutions for clients in the technology sector. Her early career included a position as an associate project manager at iXL Enterprises Inc. from 1997 to 2001, where she gained foundational experience in project management within the technology industry.
Ms. Hamilton's academic background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in English writing from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, in 1994. She further enhanced her professional capabilities by completing the building business acumen certification through Acumen Learning in 2022.
In addition to her education, Ms. Hamilton's expertise has been recognized through her active membership in the National Contract Management Association. Beyond her professional achievements, she is civically engaged as a member of Women's Network and OneWorld Jacobs. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity International.
A published poet since college, Ms. Hamilton authored various poems featured in The Farmer's Market. Her passion for literature began at age 11 during formative years marked by personal growth. Writing poetry became a means of creating order amid change, a pursuit that continues today.
Ms. Hamilton's contributions have been recognized with several honors, including Small Business Advocate of the Year from CH2M HILL Inc. in 2009. Her poetry also earned her the Davenport Poetry Award in 1994.
