From 2013 to 2022, Mr. Goodman led the grip and electrical department for "The Bay" at LANY Entertainment in Los Angeles, overseeing all aspects of lighting and rigging for the Emmy Award-winning digital drama series. In 2017, he contributed as a gaffer and key grip to Reingold Inc. Between 2008 and 2017, he excelled as a gaffer for Florida AAA Commercial at Octopus Studios and on the short film "Ready." During that same time frame, Mr. Goodman was the department lead for alphaXproduction in Los Angeles, managing lighting teams across various projects.

Among numerous other roles dating back over 30 years, Mr. Goodman garnered success in graphics, as a special effects artist, art director and other roles for various companies. He also served as the executive editor for two international tattoo magazines at Paisano Publications, allowing him to merge his passion for tattooing with content creation while learning magazine management skills such as coordinating writers and photographers. Moreover, Mr. Goodman worked independently as a designer, art director, and editor, following his foundational years in special effects, initially with Digital Domain from 1991 to 1996, where he contributed to landmark films such as "Titanic," "The Fifth Element," and "Dante's Peak." He continued this work with various production companies, including Sony Pictures Imageworks and Thunderstone, through 1997.

Mr. Goodman's professional journey began even earlier with entrepreneurial ventures as a tattoo artist and shop owner, both in Georgia, while attending school, and later in Los Angeles. He also worked in retail art supply sales, where his connections within the airbrushing community led him to teach airbrushing techniques. This skill directly resulted in Mr. Goodman's first film industry job on "Titanic."

Mr. Goodman's academic background includes coursework in fine art/illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, followed by coursework in film production at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension. These studies provided him with a strong foundation in both artistic technique and technical production skills that have been instrumental throughout his multifaceted career. Furthermore, Mr. Goodman holds credentials as an avid certified professional in media composer from Montana Edit, as a certified prop gun wrangler, and with an entertainment firearms permit from the Bureau of Firearms, a division of the California Department of Justice.

Civic engagement has been an important aspect of Mr. Goodman's life. He served as the producer for the Beach Ride charity motorcycle event benefiting the Exceptional Children's Foundation in Ventura, handling staging, organizing live performances and overseeing overall production. Mr. Goodman has also donated original paintings and photography to Hathaway Children's Services' silent auctions, supporting fundraising efforts for children's programs.

Throughout his career, Mr. Goodman has been recognized for several notable accomplishments, including lighting work on major productions, such as the feature film "Skillhouse" and his award-winning short film "Wolf Valley," which received Best Horror Short Film honors at the Golden State Film Festival at the Chinese Theater. He acted in and produced "Wolf Valley," which inspired plans for two additional films following its success. Another recent project included the action film "Hellfire." Mr. Goodman holds two Daytime Emmy Awards certificates related to his work on "The Bay" and was also featured in Canvas Rebel Magazine.

Mr. Goodman attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family, especially his parents, and values sharing his achievements with them. He also credits the dedicated professionals around him, whose collaboration has been vital to his accomplishments, particularly within his lighting business, where teamwork is essential.

Outside of work, Mr. Goodman enjoys creating content, researching stories and participating in creative pursuits, such as painting, photography and acting projects.
